Automotive Keys Group Acquires United Hardware Supply

Vernon Hills, IL – Automotive Keys Group, LLC (“AKG”) announced today the acquisition, in partnership with management, of United Hardware Supply Inc. (“UHS” or the “Company”). Based in Hollywood, FL, UHS is a distributor of replacement OEM and aftermarket keyless entry remotes & keys, key-cutting and programming equipment, and a variety of hardware. 

UHS serves thousands of locksmiths and automotive professionals with the highest quality products and customer-centric service. The acquisition of UHS magnifies AKG’s presence in the wholesale locksmith community and adds a highly experienced and committed team to the organization. The Company’s differentiated procurement model and cost focused product portfolio will be leveraged across the broader AKG platform. Combined, AKG and UHS will offer the industry’s most comprehensive selection of automotive locksmith solutions across three strategically located distribution centers supplying customers throughout North America.
